Sotto Voce with Allan Beswick

Sotto Voce, Allan Beswick (BBC Radio Manchester) and music students from Wilmslow High School at a concert for The Christie

We are a group of singing friends based in the North West of England who enjoy making a musical contribution to the atmosphere of a special occasion. We are all experienced choral singers who are also soloists. If you are looking for a choir, a soloist or a cabaret group for your special event we are able, in a short time, to put together a programme to suit you....

"We just wanted to thank you for making the service absolutely perfect.
It was everything we could have wished for. I don't think we will ever forget signing the register whilst listening to Suo Gan. We received so many compliments all day about the service, the choir and the music - I can't actually put into words how brilliant you all were. You were all absolutely wonderful and I want to thank you all for providing us with so many happy memories. Thank you for suggesting music and for being so helpful from start to finish."

Our Services

Sotto Voce are renowned in the region for making a difference at various occasions, especially weddings at which we have extensive experience.  Our repertoire (sacred and secular) ranges from early music, through opera, oratorio, Gilbert and Sullivan, musicals and the lighter repertoire.  We have the expertise to arrange special items just for you, often at short notice.

Sotto Voce have sung recently at a concert in Wilmslow for The Christie (see below), Memorial Services in Prestwich and Bury, and led the singing at a funeral at Birkenhead.

We sang Christmas Music at Tatton on Sunday 1st December 2013.

We returned to St. Ann's Church, St. Ann's Square, Manchester for the annual Carol Service of the Institute of Civil Engineers on 12th December 2013

Their chosen charity was Railway Children

Our concert on Saturday 5th October 2013 for 'The Christie' in conjunction with BBC Radio Manchester's Appeal for 2013 was a resounding success.

£2556 has been raised for the appeal.

Thanks to Allan Beswick for his support, foregoing the Wigan-Warrington RL Final (sorry your team lost, Allan!), and to the students from Wilmslow High School for their talented contribution.  Thanks to our supporters for filling the hall and Wilmslow Methodist Church, our welcoming hosts.
